Who are Everyday Athletes?
Everyday athletes are people who want to progress their fitness level to dominate in life. They want to feel good, move without pain, and be strong enough to live without limitations. No limits could mean being able to go hiking, mountain climbing, going up and down stairs, or playing with kids and grand kids forever.
Living without limitations could also mean having the confidence to be yourself no matter where you are. It means being completely happy with yourself, and free to pursue your full potential.
Simply put, the everyday athlete wants it all. They want strength, energy, mobility, stamina, and confidence. So their program has to be complete, and has to be able to track those things.
For too long, the everyday athlete has been neglected. They don’t really fit in to a set crowd such as yoga, bodybuilding, or powerlifting. They don’t want to only focus on strength, or only stretch, or get bored with their program! On the other hand, they don't need to perform flashy exercises where the risk of injury outweighs the reward.
The program has to yield results.
So we've developed a program and tracking system specifically designed for the everyday athlete. One that is balanced, progressive, competitive, and fun.
Throughout the system, you will choose a few assessments to track from each category that will match your ability as well as your goal. Overtime, when you make progress in each category, you will "rank up" and move on to the next phase of your fitness journey.
